Maria was one of the nicest people I have ever met.  Just recently, I was trying to explain to a co-worker how Maria's coffee was simply the best.  Made with love and care - like everything else Maria touched.  I will forever cherish the many hours spend at the driving range listening to her stories, and always enjoying her company.  Annika remembers the pasta Maria used to make her, and both her and Sebastian remember driving in the golf carts, and playing golf.  All good times that have forever been engraved in our memory.  Annika says: 'Bye Maria'.  We will all miss her.  Our condolences to the entire family.

Last year Maria gave me  a jar  of her homemade green tomato pickles as a x-mas gift.It was a very personal, and and a very special gift.I don't remember any other gifts from that x-mas, except for this jar of green tomato pickles.She  loved her family,her garden and the simple pleasures in life.She never forgot her roots.
