Passed away at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on Monday, December 19th, 2011, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Kenneth. Much loved mother of Wendy Jones, Shirley Johns (late Rob), and Carol Corbin (Ron). Cherished grandmother of Heidi, Stuart, Susan and Katharine Johns, and Candice Corbin. Ada will be remembered for her very active volunteering in her community. Thank you to the staff at Fairview Lodge for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, January 14th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Doctors Without Borders.
