Lizabeth Ann Raja

Lizabeth Ann Raja (age 63) of Stouffville, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after a courageous 3-year battle with ovarian cancer. She exhibited unwavering strength and determination, never giving up until her final breath.

Lizabeth was a devoted mother to Madelyne and Danielle, and a cherished sister to Mike and Suzanne (late Herb). Liz was the adoring aunt of Emily (Nik). She was predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Jim Bertrand.

Lizabeth’s memory will live on in the hearts of her partner, Peter, and his children, Carnation and Joanna. She will also be fondly remembered by Tom, the father of her children. Liz was the sister-in-law of Ilme (Mati) and Elsi (Gary), and proud aunt of Mailiis, Krista, and Liisa.

A visitation for Lizabeth will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J 2L4, followed by a celebration of life in the Chapel at 1:30 PM.

Liz was deeply grateful for the positive, caring, and empowering treatment team at Markham/Stouffville Hospital. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Chemo Clinic at Markham/Stouffville Hospital would be appreciated.
