Leslie James Stewart

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Leslie James Stewart, of Oshawa, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the age of 73. Les was born in Toronto, Ontario on February 4, 1952. Son to the Late Wallace and Cristina Stewart. Predeceased by his loving wife Sharon (nee Brown). Loving Father to Kimberley (Darryl), William B.J (Cheryl) Jamie (Mandy), Josh and Kevin (Nikki). Loving brother to Linda,(Ed), Patsy (Collin), and Sheri (James). Cherished Grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Les loved big family dinners, The Toronto Maple Leafs, playing guitar and Pink Floyd. He was a generous soul and cherished spending time with his family. There’s much more about him that words can’t describe. He had a green thumb and enjoyed sitting on his deck surrounded by the fruits of his labour. He was devoted and dedicated to his dog Misty. Les (Dad, Papa, Poppy) will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We were very lucky to be able to spend his remaining time together talking about the good times and how he wants to be remembered.

A visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4,

on Sunday March 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Les's memory may be made to Cancer Society.
