How do I say goodbye to a man I adore and love the same way as I love my father ... A love that words alone cannot express!
Uncle Les you have always been such a big part of my life.  You lived with Mom, Dad, Tony, Tammy, Troy & I as we were growing up.  You are not only my Uncle but my Brother and a very dear friend.  
You have been there for me during so many happy and tough times in my life.  Your love and guidance meant the world to me.  I don't know how I will live without you and your constant love and support.
Uncle Les that smile of yours lite up every room you entered, your warm heart loved so many people unconditionally, your kind caring ways helped so many people deal with difficult times in their lives.  This world won't be the same without you.
I love you so very much Favorite Uncle of mine!  You always said "Who's your favorite Uncle and why am I"?  ... the answer is easy ... you are totally awesome and this world was a better place having you in it!
I will continue to dance to our song "Old Time Rock N' Roll" and it will always be special to me.  When we meet in heaven we will dance again to our song!
I love you so much ... to infinity and beyond!
You will always hold a special place in my heart, right next to my Dad.
I will be there for your daughters, Alexis & Taylor, and your granddaughter Chloe.  They are Aunt Renee's girls and I adore them.  Any time they need me I will be there@

Wishing I was in Oshawa today with the family. Thinking of you all at this very sad time with lots of love.

I remember planning my wedding and wanting to "Screech In" my husband, Adam...a mainlander. There was only one man for the job, "uncle" Les. I called him up and he was right on board with the task. He said he would take care of everything. Boy-oh-boy, did he ever. From the rain suit to the cod, Les had thought of everything; including the fact that I am also a mainlander. I will always remember that on my Special Day, Les initiated Adam and I into the Newfoundland Screechers Club. This memory, among others, I will remember fondly.

To all his friends who knew him my thoughts my hugs go out to everyone of losing a great friend, I will not forget you Led you were a good friend and I remember my son Jesse would always hang out with his girls when we would go up to the trailer, and I remember Les coming over to help fix our steps to our trailer and he came into our trailer to have some soup watching Mrs. Browns boys with Manny that was funny and come in our shed to have a drink with us. On this blustery February afternoon, we lay to rest our Son, Brother, Partner, Father, Poppa, and Friend.
Les touched many lives in his time with us.
So many memories to be cherished, and stories that will forever bring us to laughter.
Today there are no longer any "What If's", only "What Now"
Les will be watching over his family from a peaceful place, and I urge all that loved him to provide the strength, emotional and moral support to help and guide them through this transition in their lives.
The past is a great teacher, and a place to draw wonderful memories to make us smile in challenging times.
Please take time to truly listen to family and friends, and be a constructive and supportive part of their lives.
Life is too short - cherish your time, and avoid the pettiness of destructive emotions.

Uncle Les family what does it mean, to me it's not just blood relations it's people who look out for you and show you right and wrong things in life, because they love you. This is without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever had to do. To say Farewell to the greatest man I had ever had the honour and pure joy of knowing you  for 30 years and loving you/US so deeply for what would be the last months of your precious life.From the First time you took me in your arms and kissed me and the saying  " I didn't always wonder If  I would get to kiss you but when".Well my love that will with all the other beautiful memories be forever in my heart and in my soul.

This is with no doubt the hardest thing I have ever had to write but MY LOVE for you I will give it my all as we did in life and love . I will start with the picture .Strange how that night you said it looked like you were an angel looking down on me. Now I know you are .OMG the fun we had that night and the pictures we took . Teasing each other saying we would look at one another's pictures after we got home . It was what we were all about . Loving life and over joyed with being in love with each other . So much that our jaws always seemed to hurt from smiling .
I had the pleasure of being your friend for 30 years , when we were so attracted to each other but I was married . You said .. I am a gentleman and will back away. You remained that Gentleman through life.It showed of your character.That is why on your journey through this life that all that met you loved and enjoyed to have you in their lives . The first time you held me in your arms and kissed me you said.. I always wondered , not if i would ever get to kiss you but when . My Love I will always Cherish to the depths of my soul that and all the love you showed me after. My only regret in us is that I could not fix what tormented you so. For that I am sorry. WE Tried. We loved each other as people for 30 years with a loving relationship for 4 short months . But For that I was blessed as were you.  You introduced me to such a wonderful family just 2 short weeks ago at you Mom's Birthday and now they have become a blessing in my life as well . To all Les's Family and huge circle of friends I am so sorry that we have to share in our grief the loss of such a remarkable Man .
