Dear Chris, Kevin and family. My deepest condolences for your loss. Coach Goddard left a memorable impression on many people.  I will never forget his wisdom and teachings of football. Hold on to his peaceful memories.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sending my condolences to Mrs G, Chris, Kevin, Coen and the Goddard family, Coach G was a great coach and mentor to many of us and he will be missed. His voice and coaching points are often repeated and will be cherished for a long time.  My thought and prayers are with you all.

Dear Mary and family, Gord and I were so sorry to hear about Ken, he will be missed.  We know football was an important part of Ken’s life but our favourite memories of Ken always contain butter tarts and Santa Claus, he was the best.

From the time Chris and I met 40+ years ago with the Hawkeyes, through High-school at Paul Dwyer and at Saint Mary's, Coach Goddard has been a part of my life.  What a great Coach and mentor.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs G, Chris and Kevin during this difficult time.

Coach Goddard was a wonderful part of the SMU football experience for so many of the players who had the honour to play under him. His passion for football and his love for the players came through every day. May he be welcomed into heaven and reunited with all who have gone before. ❤️🙏🏻🔥

To Christopher , Kevin and the Goddard family I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of the family patriarch Kenneth. I never had the pleasure of meeting him . Dear Chris and Goddard family,

I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your family on your loss.  You will be in my prayers and I wish you comfort during this difficult time.

Mary and family .. my most sincere condolences in regards to Ken’s passing.  I have always told anyone who would listen that if you believe in angels .. Coach Goddard will be one!  Thank you Mary for accepting me into your home year in - year out .. and then allowing me to drag your husband around the country recruiting.  Thank you Chris for the weekly calls that continued to the last few days!  These calls always brought a smile to my face and to the very end I appreciated hearing Coach Goddard’s advice  (lol)!  I know when next year arrives there will be a voice in my head saying .. the game is simple .. all you have to do is run power!

I was lucky to know Ken and his family for along time.  He of course taught me how to play football. He came to my university games and we coached together for years. A huge influence on my life and so many of his players. So many fond memories.

Our deepest condolences to Clan Goddard. I remember the first year Coach Goddard came to be a part of SMU Football back in the 80’s.  All the boys loved him and he always had a kind word for everyone. We looked up to Coach and respected his knowledge of the game.

I knew Ken when we coached together at York University in the 1970s. He was our line coach and one who  helped develop the linemen, building an environment to allow people to reach their goals. He was a wonderful football coach at York University who  put the student athlete first. A wonderful man. May he rest in peace

Thank you Mr. Goddard, for helping  all those young people that needed your guidance.  You definitely have changed many peoples’ lives with your talents and your gifts.
  You were a great mentor on and off the Field. You did so much for so many, by giving your time & especially by using that great sense of humour that you have to get your point across!

Sad to hear of Ken's passing. He was a great football coach who was very much dedicated to creating an environment to help the players reach and develop their talent.  It was a pleasure to know him. May he rest in peace

This is a picture of our coaching staff at Saint Mary’s University.Ken was a very meticulous OLine coach.His football drawings of OLine plays were neat and distinctive!!!We had lots of success because of his coaching!!A good coach and human being!!Our love to everyone!!!Pat and Pierre Lefebvre!!
