He knew how to make the best out of life and he did with great pride and courage.  His big personality could light up a room and he was never short of a joke or sometimes a slogan...when I reflect on his influence on my own childhood I learned from him lessons in parenting-patience, involvement and attentiveness-no matter how young you were he always made you feel that you and your thoughts mattered...I will forever be grateful for having known John and having all of you in my life. We are saddened to hear of your loss. As a supplier to John initially,  he was very very well liked and had such a happy demeanor it quickly develops into a friendship as he had such a great disposition and likeable manner. In fact he was well liked by all our staff and always had time to pass on positive comments and feedback when warranted to staff. During my several years working with John I learned  that John was very much a Family man who loved nothing more than to spend time up north with his children and grandchildren. Also we both always had time to share a good joke and have a great luagh. It is very unfortunate  that John did not have more time to spend with his family in his retirement, he was always a first class guy who has touched and left an indelible impression on many more people than we will ever know. Our sincere condolences to you and the family.
