John Duncan Ferguson of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the age of 71. John was a high school science teacher at O’Neill CVI for over 30 years. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Colin and Hayley (fiance Ciaran). Loved son of the late Ian and Ida Ferguson. Dear brother of Leslie Ferguson (Geoffrey Turner), Helen Ferguson and predeceased by his sister Ann Ferguson. Dear brother-in-law of Fred Dyck. Loved uncle of Morganna, AT, Dylan, Elise, Anton and Marian. Survived by Shirley Douglas and multiple cousins and their families.
A Celebration of Life will take at the Oshawa Funeral Home on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 2-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated.
