Joan Elizabeth Ross

Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Bill Ross and son James Ross. Loving and devoted mother of Dave. Cherished Grandmother of Julie, Sandra, and Sean. Beloved Great Grandmother of Emma, Addison, Elliott, and Lucas. Dear sister of Sheila Johnston (Pud), and Joe Connolly (d. Gloria). Predeceased by her sisters Marie Cayley-Strano (d. Frank), Frances Moher (d. Jim), Marguerite Connolly, Kathleen Cayley (Paul), Bernadette Greenan (d. Ed) and brothers Gerard (d. Frances), Jack (d. Bernice), and Bill (Mary). Remembered lovingly by her many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John Connolly and Georgina Blackburn of Lindsay Ontario.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St W, on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (Corner of Simcoe St. N., and Adelaide Ave.) on Thursday, August 24th, 2023 at 11:00 am.
