I worked with Jean in my early years as a pediatric nurse. She was such a warm, sweet person who radiated love.  I always felt good when she was near. What a wonderful soul, happy to have had her in my life. My condolences to her family.Jennifer Harris (Grandy/Morris)





So sorry for your loss. Jean was a wonderful person. I worked with her in paediatrics for many years. We worked hard, were very busy in the old days but always managed to have fun. Dear Brian, Linda, and the rest of your beautiful family, 
I am so sorry to learn of Aunt Jean’s passing. I enjoyed her humor and her enthusiasm about life when we talked by phone. Our meeting with both your parents in Nokomis and at the family reunion are two of my cherished memories. I know your mother was instrumental in getting us together. In reading through some of the other memories about Jean, I see she cast a broad net. There are friends of Harv and Jean, Jean’s work friends, Linda’s best friend...I didn’t know she was an artist! She was very kind to me and I will greatly miss her. I send my warmest sympathy to you and your family.

Many, many years of knowing "Mrs. Cooney" as Linda's best friend since grade 1.  Camping trips, the beautiful yards and flowers.  Mrs. Cooney was always smiling, happy and quite a wit!  I will miss her.
