Jim was proudly born in Griffintown Quebec to Margaret and Patrick Kelly.
He is survived by his loving wife Dolores and his children – Bryan (Jody), Brendan, Erin (Topher), Ellen and Colleen (David). Jim was a very proud grandfather to Rowan (Jane), Jack (Tatiana), Maggie, Sean, Charlie, Grace, Ryan and Georgia.
Jim was predeceased by his sister Peggy, his brother Tommy, his sister-in-law Patricia and brother-in-law Gerald. He is survived by his brothers Jackie and Donnie and sisters-in-law Mary, Kathleen and Laddie. As well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Jim took pride in his big Irish family, loved to tell the tales of their life in “Griff” and will always be remembered for his presence and choirboy voice.
Always a whistle and the jingle of change in his pockets.

Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W. Oshawa on Tuesday April 22 from 4 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 1100 Mary St. N. Oshawa on Wednesday April 23 at 10:30 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
