Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 25th, 2011 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife, our loving mother Rebecca Clare, and his second wife Marjorie. Loving father of Tracey-Ann (Christopher), Megan (Tim), loving grandfather of Cailey, Brandon, Bronwyn, Zachary and Emily Clare. Thank you to our special angel Joan (Yoan) who helped us so much with loving in-home care and the wonderful staff at CCAC for your support. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for a memorial visitation on Thursday, January 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (194 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Friday, January 28th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment of cremated remains to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
