Born in Bristol England Howard immigrated to Canada in 1960 and joined the RCAF, serving until 1965 when he became an OPP officer, a job he loved. Through promotions Howard finished his OPP career retiring in 1993 as a Detective Chief Superintendent at GHQ in Toronto. He continued working as a Forensic Investigator until 2015.
Predeceased by his parents Margaret & Bill Chick and Brother Norman (Barb). Survived by his wife Judy; children Julianne (Mark), Michael (Cyndi), and Ian (Sharon). Grandchildren: Codey (Kate), Dylan (Amber), Ryan, Rachel, Cassidie, Zachary and Great Grandson Theo. As well as many Family members in England and in Alberta whom he loved dearly.
May you rest in peace now Howard. We will love you and miss you forever.
