I met Mang Hong at my first work at HBC Logistics ( Distribution Center for Zellers).  As a co worker, He was very helpful, responsible and dependable .  Always willing to lend a hand.  He has been my carpool from home to work and going back, work to home for 15 years.  Our friendship became stronger when my husband’s niece, Carmie was introduced to his youngest son, Adonis, they fell in love with each , got married and now have two beautiful kids, Khian & Audrey,  Mang Hong will always be remembered.  His memories will live through his wife, children and grandchildren! 🙏

We had the great pleasure to see you again last May after so many years. It was a short visit yet we felt so welcomed and happy to see you and mama like back when I used to go to your place in Binondo during our school years with Fairy.
To all of you,  our family,  including my sisters whom he met for the first time, are all sending our sincerest condolences,  sympathies,  and lots of love,  especially to my dearest friend Fairy Jane.  We are with you all in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

It's almost 3 days after bro. Hong Kiant passed away, but up to now, I can't believed the sudden destiny of Dhya, that only old memories remain to remember him, the older brother who used to advice me for the wellness of my health. I still remember those time we have been together cruising China & likewise there at Canada, precious happy moments that I'll cherish forever...I know I'll be missing you my caring big brother.

My brother Hong kiant had the most resemblance of our father. He was the shy and quiet type but had many abilities especially loved fixing things. I can still remember when I was young he made a revolving Christmas tree for us with his own invention. We were so amazed. He loved cars and was the family mechanic. I also can't forget the last time we chatted online last June . I was so happy to talk to him since he was usually a man of few words but that time he shared a lot of things. May you rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏

I  was afraid of Ko-tiu as a kid because he was quiet and strict with my cousins.  But he has always been kind and patient with me.  Not minding or scolding the little kid who drops ice cream on the floor of the ice cream house or spills liquid eraser on the living room glass table. 

I remember Ko-tiu always has a camera to capture Imoments in videos and photos.  I remember telling myself as a kid that I would do that also,  when I grow older, like him, to take videos of life's precious moments. It is always a dream of mine to someday, go in vacation to Canada with my family,  to be with them again.  I am saddened that now,  he will no longer be there when that dream ever happens. I will miss you Ko-tiu.  

Your relationship with A-ko is one of the most loving relationship I've ever seen. Most people in this world could only hope to be as blessed to experience that in their lifetime. Rest in peace.

For me, Dikukong (Uncle Hong Kiant Lim) is a very kind, caring, generous, thoughtful and loving uncle to me. He is usually quiet, but he always supported me. I was very glad and touched I and my family were able to spend some time with him. He will forever be missed in my heart. He hugged me first when we were about to leave to go home to the Philippines.
