Helen Lois Irvine

Irvine, Helen Lois (Toddy) of Whitby. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sweet momma, on Friday February 25, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Allison Irvine. She will be forever loved and missed by her children, Lois, Gary, Karen (Tim) and Tracy (Chris). Treasured Nannie to Tamara, Jennifer, Nicole, Vanessa (Ross), Cameron (Soleil) and Kyle. She was overjoyed to be a great grandmother to 14 and great great grandmother to 4. Toddy will be missed by her two surviving sisters Laura and Nancy and is now reunited with her parents and siblings. Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will forever be known as Nannie to those who loved her near and far.

The family wishes to thank her PSW’s Devita and Erin for all of their love and kindness shown to mom these past years. A special thank you to Corrine her palliative nurse for making her transition a comfortable one at home.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King St., West (905-721-1234) on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 4pm – 8pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday March 4, 2022 at 10:30 am.

Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa.

Following internment, a reception will be held at Parkwood Estate 270 Simcoe St N Oshawa, ON L1G 4T5. For those who cannot attend the service due to capacity restrictions, please feel free to meet us at Parkwood at 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm to help us all reminisce and share memories to celebrate this beautiful lady.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation and Parkwood Estates.
