Elizabeth "Betty" Helen Jacula Kerr

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and now reunited with her beloved husband Joseph (2013), on September 24th, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at 75 years of age. Betty, loving daughter of the late John and Mary Jacula. Best friend and cherished mother of Lisa, Karen and her husband Michael Boadway. Dear sister of Marie Beaucage, the late Ann Nyerges and John Jacula. She will be missed dearly by her extended family and friends. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Frank Fung and staff for their excellence and endless compassion, Durham EMS, Oshawa Fire Dept. and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, also a special thank you to Care Partners Nurses Sarah and Nicole, St. Elizabeth PSW Shereen. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, September 28th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 29th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Bowmanville or Simcoe Hall Settlement House would be appreciated.
