Eileen Lenora Hanson Worsley

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 16th, 2014, at the youthful age of 74. Loving wife and best friend of Bob for 51 years. Amazing Mom of Susan (Edward Woytowich), Sandra (Robert Reid) and Paula (Moonsoor Khan). Loving Nanny of Jaden, Josh, Jamil, Kathleen, Michelle, Cydney and Abby. Survived by her sister Mary Barks (late Earl) and is predeceased by her brother James Hanson (Georgina) and by her sister Elizabeth Hanson. Eileen will be dearly missed by niece Kim and her son Kyle, as well as by many other relatives and friends. Eileen will be fondly remembered for her strength, love of family and her “feistiness”. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the caring and compassionate nursing staff of the Palliative Care Unit and CCAC, especially to Joan and Collette. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, January 21st from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care or Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
