Donald G. Fraser

(Retired from General Motors after 43 years of service)

At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in his 67th year. Surrounded throughout his life and in his final days by family and friends. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Mooney) for 40 years. Devoted father of Jason and his wife Jennifer and Christopher (Lori). Adoring and awesome Grandpa of Graeme and Ian. Honourary Grandfather of Sadie. A proud member of the Fraser clan, he will be sadly missed by his sisters Marie Murphy (Brian), Dorothy Fraser (Andrew), Viola Kirmiziyan (Sevan) and his brothers Carmen (Terry), Lloyd and Brent. Predeceased by his parents Annie and H.B. and by his brothers James, Robert and Douglas. Donnie will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Donnie enjoyed gardening and hockey. Special thanks to Dr. Quinn and the Durham Region Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME 847 King St. W (905-721-1234) on Friday, August 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 6th at 1:00 P.M. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre.
