Peacefully passed with family by her side on February 9th, 2025, at Lakeridge Heights Retirement Home, Whitby at the age of 86. Dolly, beloved wife of the late Alwyn. Dear mother of Kathleen (Late Lorne Bruce), Randy (Mary), Richard (Clariane), and Christopher (Lynet). Loving Grandmother of Travis, Sofia, Mikyla, Gabriella, and Theodore. Dear sister of Juanito and his wife Erlinda. Will be missed by all her nieces, nephews, family and friends. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Richards, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away peacefully on February 9th at the age of 86.
Dolores was a devoted wife to her loving husband, and a proud mother to four children, who were the center of her world. She cherished every moment with her family, and her love and care extended to her five grandchildren, whom she adored. Dolores was the cornerstone of her family, offering unwavering support, love, and wisdom throughout her life.
In her professional life, Dolores had a distinguished 30-year career as a bank trader. Her dedication, hard work, and sharp mind earned her respect and admiration among colleagues and clients alike. She was a true professional, always committed to excellence.
Dolores's legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A celebration of her life will be held in the coming days, with details to follow.
