Kostia, Vechnaya Pamyat'.  A wonderful person who taught me how to eat fancy (which fork is this?), dance (Russian, Polka, polonaise), play a domra (Our Great Russian Orthodox Youth Orchestra conductor), downhill ski, and travelled 600 miles to my wedding 20 years ago!  Wherever he hid, I found him thanks to the Internet!  He will be missed.

I have many lovely memories of my Uncle Const that I will treasure.  From his delicious, extravagant cooking to his random world knowledge he always had something interesting to share. But my favorite memory is when he took me and my cousins to see my first concert, Janet Jackson. He was so irritated that people were standing and dancing, which gave him an obstructed view. We loved laughing with him about that. We will miss you Uncle Const.

I have many good memories of Constantin from when we were both members of the Fitch Bay group. He was a great cook and we had many elaborate and delicious meals (but oh the washing up!). He was always interesting, concerned about others and fun to be with.

It was a pleasure to have known Constantin.  We had many happy occassions with him and the Childerhose family.  His insight and enthusiasm for culinary arts were the topic of many conversations with my daughter who is a culinary arts graduate. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Constantin's family and Mike Childerhose at this difficult time.

I was honoured to call him a friend and my cousin.....I will miss him dearly.

Constantin  was our treasured friend for more than 40 years and we have wonderful memories of our times together.   He was a man of many talents, cultured, benevolent, highly intelligent and always put the well-being of others before his own.  He enriched our lives in so many ways and we were very fortunate to have his friendship.  We are very saddened to hear of his untimely passing.   We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to his family.

I spent many years as a child with fond memories of Constantine.  I had the pleasure of attending his easter dinners and many 9 course meals at the country house in Fitch Bay.  We also went skiing in Tremblant, Sutton and Jay peak several times.  He was a very good friend of my father David and I was lucky to have known him.  He was like family to me, I will miss him very much.

Costia was my one of my best friends since we were teens. We enjoyed dancing and performing with Gusli (a Russian Folk Group). We had many parties, balls, car rallies, and even climbed on Mount Royal after it had rained!  I was sure we weren't going to make it. He was creative. a good cook, and  he amazed me with his knowledge on all kinds of obscure subjects. He was a good person and a true friend.

I was privileged to be able to call Constantin a friend, colleague, boss. He was intelligent, compassionate, understanding, and helpful...motivated to find elegant solutions to problems that others had set aside. Did I say patient?...especially so.  I am saddened by his loss and regret not keeping in touch with him more closely over the last few years. My deepest sympathies.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Constantin.   I, as well as many others worked with him at Expro during the 80's while he occupied different positions in the company and then we met on occasion during his visits to the plant later on.  I have fond memories of him.  My sympathies, taken too early.
