Dear David, Suzanne, Michelle, Chris and Gary.

I was very sorry to hear about Carol who I knew as a child as my Aunt.   I remember quite a bit about her when she was over at my house inspiring my Mom (Pat McQuade) to make candles, do art, and yes, I remember a board game they were working on. 

Your Mom's art was all over my house with original prints of "Whitby Wille" and "Fran Toad", including a massive painting of flowers and driftwood that hung in my parents living rooms for years.

One of my favourite memories of your family was the Christmas Eve we McQuade's - and others I seem to recall  - spent at your house on Meadow Cres with so many people.  Your Mom herding us all outside into the fresh fallen snow to go around the neighbourhood singing Christmas carols!  Who does that anymore?  Then back to the Cooper's house for some hot chocolate.  I remember my sister Kathleen and Suzanne hanging out together as well.

I’m saddened to read of Carols passing. She & I got to know each other through genealogy. As little girls, my mom and carol spent a summer together on the JO Clifford ranch. My Grandmother is “Dot” Ferguson, whom Carol had a picture of in her archives. Making her acquaintance was a thrill for my. May the memory of her generous spirit enrich your lives every day.

Good morning, 

David, Suzanne, Michelle, Chris, Gary.. I just found out about the passing for my favourite Aunt.  I am so sad at her passing. I have been out of the loop due to surgery to my knee in July or else I would have been there at the funeral. 

Please accept my condolences. She was the best of women.  I was thinking of her about 3 weeks ago wondering how Suzanne was coping. She is already greatly missed.

Sending condolences to my former Meadow Crescent neighbour's family.

Mrs. Cooper is remembered as a very creative lady, with numerous skills in the arts. I still have a copy of the novel that she wrote and signed for me. (I recall that Siobhan - my former student and Mrs. Cooper's grand-daughter - was a main character in that story!)
Her illustrations of storybooks were wonderful.

Dear Cooper Clan. We are so  very sorry to hear of Aunt Carol's passing. She sure had an active life. We wish all our cousins and their families peace and fond memories. Jim, Rose, Joshua, Jennifer & Graeme, Jacob & Catherine.

Carol and Joe will always be fondly remembered. Their passing brings about an end to a bygone era filled with good times, good memories and lots of pictures. If I had the technical savvy to upload some pictures, I surely would have. I offer my condolences to her surviving children, to Suzanne, Michelle, David, Gary and Chris and their families. May they rest in peace in a better place.
