Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, May 23rd, 2014 in his 66th year. Loving husband of Heather. Cherished father of Michelle, the late Denis, Matthew and Stepfather of Vanessa and Stewart. Cherished grandfather of Bobby and Megan. Dear brother of 12. He will be sadly missed by the Garvin family. Family would like to thank Dr. Shim, Nurse Diana, Visiting Home Nurse Susan and the Nursing Staff of 6C at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, May 27th from 12:00 noon until time of Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Heath Foundation – Cancer Care in lieu of flowers.
