Sad to hear of the passing of my 1st cousin, Barb. i recall times at the cottage when I was a young children with my Uncle Bill and Aunt Alice. Barb was always kind and caring to me. I appreciate the video, as it brought back my childhood memories,

Sorry to learn of Barb's passing. She was one of our group of a dozen ladies who met first in Oshawa public and/or high school. Our friendship developed into a group called "Gabbers" for seventy - plus years. 

She is lovingly remembered and our thoughts are with her grieving family. 

I remember how upset your mom was  about Somerville traffic calming efforts!
She was a very hardworking and bright person. 
Our prayers are with you as you  grieve her death.
A chapter/generation is closed for you. May you grieve in your own way relying on our Lord.

A very soft-spoken, sweet and gentle soul - I will always remember Barbara as a humble and very faithful child of God. After George died - she carried on coming to CHrist Church until it became impossible for her and ultimately until she moved into a care-setting a little west of the GTA. Many women who knew her outside of church said she was a beautiful quilter and generous about sharing her talents with anyone. Great is thy faithfulness - my friend AND greater still is the fact that so many of us knew you - your beautiful smile and relationship with our Lord and Saviour.

We are so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. Barb and George were our neighbours for many years, and we often speak of them, and remember them fondly. Our thoughts are with their family. 

Hi, John and family - - I am sorry to see that your Mom has passed.  It's a hard event to lose a Mom - - the one who has loved us unconditionally from day one of our lives.  Yours will be no different, I'm sure.  Your Mom had an extremely interesting career and life and I'm sure those things influenced you to be the great person you are today.  I remember both your Mom and Dad attending Christ Church and, right, your Mom was quiet, but very pleasant.  May God send you peace and strength to help you deal with this great loss. I worked in the Engineering Branch with Barb for many years.  Her good humour and optimism always amazed me since she was the only female technician in a large room full of men.  The thing I remember most is Barb's mad dash through the doors just before the workday began.  We all respected Barb and personally I liked to talk quilting with her...she was pretty darn good at whatever she turned her hand to. I know you, her family, will miss her greatly.

Barb and I worked together at City Hall for many wonderful years in the Road Design Division. She is responsible for many of the fine designs of roads in Oshawa. 
A lovely lady and a great person to have known. Our thoughts are with her extended family. 

Barb was a lovely lady  who I worked with at City Hall.  I believe she graduated top of her class and she was the first woman Draftsman hired  by the City.

She will be missed by many of her co-workers.
