Virginia Wilson Reynolds went to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2011. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother and a blessed great-grandmother during her life of 83 years. Virginia was born into a large family in Wacross, Georgia and later married and raised her family in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Cecil Reynolds; father, Avner Wilson; mother, Lottie Wilson Chaney; step-father, Pop Chaney; sisters, Vera Kotzer, Villa Mae Wilson, Gloria Wilson, Nell Wynn; brothers, Verlin Wilson, Vernie Wilson ; grandson, Foster Powell Hawkins. Those remaining: son, William Cecil Reynolds and wife Arveda; daughter Diane Dee Hawkins and husband Wesley; grandchildren, Will Reynolds and wife Laura, Evan Reynolds and wife Kim, Travis Hawkins, Denya Haymore and husband Darrell; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Addison, Reid, Sayge, Layne Reynolds and Lauren, Kelsey, Cole Hawkins; sisters Vivian Smith and Mary Hutchinson. Virginia, lovingly known as Nanny, took much pride in devoting her life to her family and instilled in each individual life lessons and family traditions in addition to our cherished memories.
