Shirley Ward, 79, passed away peacefully June 19, 2016 in Daytona Beach, FL. She was born in Illinois on April 11, 1937. Shirley was a resident of the Ormond Beach area for more than 30 years. She worked several years at the Desert Inn in Daytona Beach. Shirley enjoyed spending time with family and the Florida climate. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Ward. She is survived by 4 children. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1- 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 with a funeral service to take place following at 2:00 p.m. at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.
