Robert Carl Longhi, born June 28, 1948 and passed away on March 15, 2016 from complications of cancer. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire to Theresa and Mario Longhi. Survived by beloved wife Marilyn Hudson Longhi and his three children Steven Longhi, Cynthia Longhi and Laura Longhi Johnson, his brother Donald Longhi and Melanie Mullen, and six beautiful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Robert proudly served in the United States Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga and was also extremely proud to be stationed in Antarctica and to be a part of a crucial element of Operation Deep Freeze. After leaving the military he had several jobs until he found his calling as a professional truck driver with over 2,000,000 recorded miles. His true passions were the love of sports, coaching youth baseball and the great outdoors, including hunting and fishing. Upon his retirement he became a fishing tour guide on many lakes in New Hampshire specializing in salmon fishing. He was loved by the many people whose lives he touched and he will be truly missed.
