I met Martha at the gym. We talked politics movies and tv shows. She was always interesting funny and a joy to be around.  As I got to know her better over the years I was always amazed at her cheerfulness  her kindness and her smile that lit up the room when she entered. She never complained or had anything negative to say about anyone. I will miss her so much. A rare and beautiful light has gone out in the world

A Love Note

For all those who loved Martha and were blessed by her loving you.   May you know love doesn’t disappear when one dies.  It is set free.  Martha’s Love is forever with you.

I was blessed by Martha when teaching yoga in Augusta.  She had an elegant stillness about her.  It seemed to ripple outward to all that was around her. 

May your loss be filled with love beyond all loves.  May you find peace in the midst of tears.

Over a decade ago Martha became a kind and giving 4-H volunteer.  She was a 4-H Classroom Volunteer presenting educational programs in the classroom.  Always wanting the best for the boys, Martha was always "ENCOURAGING" Jeremy and Brandon to work on their 4-H projects, which was generally not their favorite task!  Martha was a great friend. Martha's smile could make a sad day into a glad day.

Randy, Jeremy and Brandon...My heart is very heavy!  I always told Martha that if I were to host a party,   she would be the person that I would invite first.  She loved life, loved people, spoke to everyone, made the room joyful.   It made me smile to know she would walk in the door on Friday morning for yoga and take her place on her magic carpet.
I will miss her ... I will miss her so very much.   No one can ever replace the warmth she brought to a room.
