Grandpa, you were such a wonderful man. I will never forget you and how much joy you brought to our family. You could always put a smile on my face! I used to love listening to all your stories as a child growing up in the 20's and 30's and as a man in the war. You lived a great life, a life to be proud of. Thank you so much for all that you have done and for being a man that I could look up to. I'm going to miss you so much! I Love You!

Grandpa, your love, your generosity, and your sense of humor will be very much missed and fondly remembered.  I'll always be grateful to you for pushing me to be more creative throughout the years.  It was you who inspired me to make things like building a go-kart with all the neighborhood kids.  

When you built me that animation light-box, bought our family our first camcorder, and bought me my super-16 camera -- all those things were stepping stones to the career I've chosen.  I honestly don't think I'd be where I am today without you.

I'm sad that Reynold won't be able to get to know you and love you like I did.  Thankfully, your heart and your character have been passed down to your daughter -- she will be to Reynold what you were to me.  I love you, Grandpa!  I can't wait to see you again.  Love, Your Grandson, Joe

Grandpa...my fondest memory of you is when you and I were sitting on the couch in Florida and you talked about your war days! I was so proud of you that I wrote you a letter when I got back home! You know what? I found that letter years later in your drawer here in MD...I don't think anyone knew but I still have it...I love you so much...You are the most generous, kind, loving person on the face of the earth! You are a true gentleman...I was proud to have you as my grandfather! Say hi to Grandma and tell her I love and miss her too! Till I see you again, pal....Chuckie!

Dear Grandpa,
Happy Father's Day! I miss you very much but know that you are at peace and enjoying reconnecting with Grandma, John, Tasha, and Nana. It was an honor to have you as my grandfather and am so proud of all your accomplishments and the way you were so giving to others. I will cherish the memories we shared always! I love you!!!

Dear Dad, you are so very missed. I can't believe that you are no longer with us. I'm sure you are at peace and are with mom and all your loved ones.
