Henry John Wittenberg

OBITUARY

Henry John Wittenberg, 89, Ormond Beach, passed away on July 29, 2020 is now at home with his Lord.

He was born on July 24, 1931 in Paterson, NJ to the late Henry and Hilda Wittenberg. Henry and his wife Betty were longtime residents of Ormond Beach. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1965 and retired from a long career with the Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing and traveling with family and visiting their vacation home in the mountains of North Carolina. Henry especially enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a faithful worker and member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Holly Hill. Henry was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty, his parents, Henry and Hilda Wittenberg and his brother Donald and sister-in-law Jensine Wittenberg. He is survived by his loving children Steven Wittenberg (Susan) and John Wittenberg (Claudia), his daughter Lori Bonnevier (John) as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as “Pop-Pop”
