George J Mastrobuono

George J. Mastrobuono, 72, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Eastchester, NY passed away Wednesday November 1, 2017. Born in Bronxville, NY George worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Eastchester until his retirement in 1986. He was the son of the late George and Ruth (Pirone) Mastrobuono. George had a passion for hunting and fishing and car racing. His favorite car was a red 1940 Chevy that he loved taking to car shows. He enjoyed nice cigars and a good laugh. He was always the life of the party, appreciated a good joke and gathering with family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years, Celeste; sisters, Lucille Nunno and Ruth Piacquadio and a great uncle and father figure to nieces and nephews, Joseph, Anthony, Tommy, George, A.J., Andrea, Tommy, Anthony, Patricia, Roseanne, Robert, Deana, Nicholas, Christopher, Renee and Randi and 15 great nieces and nephews. Beside his parents he sister Dolores Izzo predeceased him. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 6, 2017 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach .
