

Mrs. de Prado was born in the Bronx, N.Y. and moved to Wurtsboro in 1980 from Lynbrook, N.Y. She worked for and retired from the Board of Education for the City of New York as a Laboratory Specialist and also a Claims Examiner for Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She received an A.A.S. degree in Chemical Technology and a B.S. degree in Business Management and Accounting. She also did graduate work in Business and Education at S.U.N.Y. in New Paltz, N.Y. Mrs. de Prado loved reading, sewing and most of all, family activities.
Mrs. de Prado leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 60 years, Guy de Prado; son, Raymond (Helen) de Prado; two daughters, Connie de Prado and Jeanne (Roger) de Prado; brother, Eugene (Virginia) Foley; two grandchildren, Trisha Adams (Dennis) McCumber and Michelle Smith; great grandchild, Emma McCumber; sister-in-law, Diana (John) Waclawski and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
