Catherine J. Arthur

Catherine Arthur, 90, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away Nov. 1, 2015. She was born in Scranton, PA on April 5, 1925 and graduated from Sussex, NJ High School. Catherine married her beloved late husband Donald Arthur, Sr. on November 16, 1942. Kay was retired but worked part time for 28 years at the ALIKI condominium where she also resided. She was a member of the "Lunch Bunch" and a published author of children's books..."Jelly Bean" was published in 2005.Kay had a passion for reading, crossword puzzles, shopping and spending time with her family and friends whom she dearly loved. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and George; three sisters, Anna, Margaret, Mary and Helen. Catherine is survived by Bonnie Hendricks of Old Saybrook, CT; Donald Arthur, Jr and wife Patricia C. Arthur of Fair Lawn, NJ; grandchildren: Arlene Hendricks; Eric Hendricks and wife Sharon; Patricia Port Vliet and husband Eric; Alexander Arthur and wife Susan; great grandchildren: Danielle, Cody, Cameron, Jake, Grace, Dylan, Alyssa and Autumn.
