Stephen J. Fish

Stephen J. Fish, 74, died peacefully Sunday July 16th, at his home in Eastham. He was born in Lynn, MA to the late Walter and Catherine (Burke) Fish, April 10th, 1949. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his sisters Janet Bousquet and Marian Fish. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Gaile (Connelly) Fish, his son Joseph, and brothers Walter and Robert.

He was a graduate of Cathedral High school in Springfield, MA and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Before his retirement he worked as a teacher and coach at Cape Cod Tech, and as an instructor at New England Maritime. With the help of his friends, he dismantled and rebuilt his home in Hyannis in 1976. He and his family moved to Eastham in 1998 into a home that he, again with help of his friends, built. A talented songwriter and artist. Beloved by many.

Visiting hours are Monday July 24th, 4:00-7:00 pm at Nickerson Funeral Home: 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 61 Canal Rd, Orleans, MA 02653.
