Roy E. Chad, 51, of Eastham Massachusetts died on April 22nd at Cape Cod Hospital after a battle with lung cancer.
Born in Hyannis, MA in 1971 he was the eldest son of Ronald Chad and Suzanne (Shepard) Chad. He graduated from Cape Cod Tech where he studied to become a plumber. He was passionate about darts playing in tournaments all around the country and loved playing with his friends in the CCDL.
Roy was preceded in death by his father Ronald Chad and leaves behind one son, Gustav (Gus) Ronald Chad of Eastham, MA. He is survived by his mother Sue Chad of Eastham MA; sister Jennifer Chad and her husband Bob McGrath of Brewster, MA; brother Eddie Chad and wife Chrissy of Marstons Mills; nephew, Nic Chad, and nieces Ainsley, Nina and Caroline Chad and great niece Vivian Chad.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Roy’s life at the Elks lodge in Eastham, Monday, May 1st 4-7pm.
A memorial fund will be set up for Gus through Cape Cod 5.
