Born in 1944 and raised in Waterbury, CT; she graduated from Crosby High School and later from St. Mary’s School of Nursing. Together with her husband of 52 years, Wayne, she owned and operated a successful family restaurant in Plantsville, CT until 1988. After many years of hard work, she fulfilled her dream of living on Cape Cod and moved with her family to Massachusetts in 1996. Rosalie’s second career of Nursing was her most passionate calling. She treated her patients with unconditional care and dignity, touching many lives. She lived her faith and was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans. When not caring for others, Rosalie enjoyed; hiking, vegetable gardening, the beach, lively discussions involving politics and New York Yankee baseball, researching her Italian heritage, and dinners with her family.
She is predeceased by her loving parents Armand and Margaret Dotoli of Waterbury, CT. She is survived by her husband Wayne Meyer of Orleans, sister Mary Dotoli of Yarmouth, and daughters Rita Genovese and Kristin Meyer.
