Bob leaves behind his son, Kyle Kearin of Eastham, MA and his many cousins and friends. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Robin (Miller) Kearin, his fiancée, Candee Roberts, his parents, Walter and Dorothy (Moreland) Kearin and his brother, Peter Kearin.
Bob graduated from Lowell Technological Institute (now known as UMass Lowell) in 1973. He was a stand out hockey player at Lowell and was inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992 and into the Legends of Lowell Hockey in 2010. His former coach, Bill Riley (hall of fame) said of Bob "He was the toughest player to wear a Lowell uniform and a very good student ". Bob continued to play hockey his entire life.
Bob joined the family business, New England Plastics, in 1980 and became President of the company in 1988 and continued as President until his passing.
Bob loved Cape Cod, Hawaii and a good party. He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins fan. He enjoyed skiing and Formula One racing. In the summer he could be seen driving around Town in his boxy, orange VW Thing heading towards The Beachcomber.
A visitation for Bob will be held Sunday, August 4th from 1-4pm at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA with a funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 5th at 11am, at St. Joan of Arc Church, 61 Canal Rd., Orleans.
