Nolan C Rozzelle Jr.

Nolan C. Rozzelle, Jr. 64, of Wellfleet, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 on what would have been his parents’ 65th anniversary, in Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA. He was the loving husband of Floran (Menangas) Rozzelle.

Nolan was born on December 20, 1947 in Hickory, NC. He was the son of the Nolan C. Rozzelle Sr. and Shirley (Shalom) Rozzelle. He played on the Triton Regional High School last champion baseball team in 1966. He coached, managed, umpired, and was honored as a lifelong member of the Bellmawr, NJ Little League. He went on to coach junior varsity baseball and basketball. He played in the Cape Cod Old Timers Softball League. An active member of the Chatham/Nauset Lions Club, he served as District Governor for District 335 from 2008-2009.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Robert and wife Denise Rozzelle, son Nolan, son Brian and his wife Lisa Rozzelle, step-daughter Theresa and her husband Sean Pitta, step-son Michael Chiuchiolo, step-daughter Michele Chiuchiolo, step-son Jamie Coelho and David Montealegre; grandchildren Katiey, Brian Jr., Michael, John, Payne, Noah, Alissandra, Anthony, Cloe(who is expected on February 16th); sister Mare Rozzelle; aunts Laura Shalom and Jonie Rozzelle; sister-in-law Sylvia Rozzelle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Sam Rozzelle.

His visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 4-7p.m. followed by his Remembrance Service at 7p.m in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA.
