James Crystaloski – 80 – of Brewster, MA died April 24, 2023. He was born in Adamsburg, PA. He proudly served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Enterprise in the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was the lifelong owner of Jim’s Repair Service of Chatham and Brewster for over 40 years. The work Jim did with the VFW showed his extensive leadership. He was an All-American District Commander for District 17, as well as an All-State and Post Commander at several posts across the Cape and Plymouth.
Jim is survived by his wife of 34 years Judy (Dunham), his daughter Deb (Barry) Beauvais of Naugatuck, CT, stepdaughter, Hilary Young of Orleans and his nephew Brian (Sheila) Crystaloski of Greensburg, PA. There are also 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He had a special relationship with his granddaughter Katie and her son Stephyn (Sunshine).
Calling hours will be at Nickerson Funeral Home in Orleans on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 1-3. Burial will be private at the National Cemetery in Bourne at a future date. Donations can be made to Brewster Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Hospital in his memory.
