Dorothy "Dot" L. Hall

January 5, 1930 ~ August 15, 2015

Dorothy "Dot" Hall, 85 of Nokomis FL passed away on August 15, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend, who will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

Originally from Weymouth, MA, she married Bill and they lived in Hanover, MA for many years. Aside from raising 6 children Dot took in numerous foster children. Besides spending time with her large family she loved knitting, sewing and waitressing. Dot and Bill moved to Nokomis, FL in the 80's where they spent their last 25 years enjoying life at its best with family and friends.

Married for 67 years, waiting in heaven with open arms, was her husband Bill. Dorothy is survived by her six children, Diane (Tom) Hilferty of Eastham, MA; Wayne (Cindy) Hall of Nokomis, FL; Brett (Linda) Hall of Hollis Center, ME; Bill (Donna) Hall of Nokomis, FL; Bob (Donna) Hall of Nokomis, FL; and Lisa Hall of Henniker, NH. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM on September 24, 2015 at the New Life Assembly of God in Venice, FL. Family and friends are welcome.
