Dowd, Dennis James, 78, of Orleans. Entered into rest on Sept. 28, 2013. Dennis leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Carolyn (DeLuca) Dowd, his four devoted children: Peter Dowd and his wife Lisa Dowd of Stratford, CT, Katherine Dowd of Stratford, CT, Jonathan Dowd of Orleans, and Jeremy Dowd of Orleans. He is also survived by his brother Donald Dowd of NJ, and his sister-in-law Rosemarie Caesar of Clifton, NJ. He will be missed by his cherished step-granddaughter Meghan Springer and his nephew James Dowd.
