Carol was a force to be reckoned with; she was an advocate, friend, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, wife, mother, and the role in which she most delighted - grandmother.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she spent most of her formative years on Long Island.
Carol transferred to Hofstra University, after a year at SUNY New Paltz in order to be closer to her family and care for her ailing mother and grandmother.
She would go on to obtain a degree in education and taught elementary school until the birth of her first child, embracing her favorite role of mother and homemaker.
Carol met her beloved husband of 51 years, Stephen "Artman" Roth at a Jewish youth retreat.
They married in 1967 and would go on to make Newburgh, NY their home for the next 24 years.
They would often vacation on Cape Cod and in the Spring of 1997 purchased their home, and officially moved fulltime to Orleans in 1998.
Carol devoted much of her time to many worthwhile Local Cape Organizations where she will be missed, such as CC Hospital Auxiliary, Cape Cod Synagogue and Am Hayam.
She was most proud of the Am Hayam Annual Food Drive, which she and Stephen initiated and spearheaded every year.
They would make a plea, then collect and deliver literally tons of donated food for those in need in the local community.
This annual food drive now carries their name in honor of all their efforts and dedication.
She will be missed most by her Daughter Jessica Roth, Son Daniel Roth, his wife Cindy Roth, and "the best grandchildren ever" Zachary Roth and Rebekah Roth.
Her funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Cape Cod Synagogue. Her burial will follow at the Orleans Cemetery, Orleans, MA.
