Brian was a simple man and a loyal friend. He loved his family as they were everything to him. He had a love of all animals as well. Brian was a genuine Cape Codder, and his knowledge of Cape Cod was endless. Brian enjoyed the water and in his late 20’s and early 30’s, he ran his scalloping boat out of Rock Harbor. He could also be found fishing, quahogging and arrowhead hunting. Brian would do anything to help someone and also spent time talking to anyone who was interested in Cape Cod.
Brian, a Navy veteran, spent most of his life as a mechanic. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. In the 70’s, he worked for Cape Cod Ready Mix. Brian also worked for the Town of Orleans as well as Laidlaw and lastly with Cape Destinations.
Brian is survived by his three daughters; April Bentley (Robert) of Orleans, Bonnie Coulson of Wareham, Crystal Coulson of Orleans, four grandchildren; Katie Daubert, Brittany Christopher and Karlie Bentley, three great grandchildren; Skylar, Alissah and Bailee. Brian also leaves his beloved dog Alexandria. He was predeceased by his mother Florence, his father Harry and his son Brian W. Coulson Jr.
Brian will be sadly missed by his loving daughters and his many, many friends and family. Burial will be Wednesday, June 30th in Orleans Cemetery at 10AM. Donations can be made in memory of Brian to the Animal Rescue League of Brewster.
Brian fought a courageous six week fight with Covid. He gave it everything he had in him. Our dad is the strongest man we know.
Rest easy Dad.
