Troy Joseph McPhillips

Troy Joseph McPhillips passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 57. He was born on January 17, 1965 at the Navy Orlando Hospital in Florida. He lived his entire life in Central Florida. He attended Mid Florida Technical College for auto mechanics. Throughout his life, he worked many jobs including auto mechanics, carpet cleaner, fork lift operator, setting up conventions, construction worker, painter and landscaper. His true passion was listening to music and playing his guitar. Within the last few years of his life, he loved taking care of the neighborhood stray cats. He would feed and provide shelter for them. Although Troy was set in his ways, he could make you laugh with his loud voice and vivacious personality. He will be forever missed and forever in our hearts. May God bless you and keep you in his loving arms until we meet again.

He was the oldest of four siblings. He is survived by his mother Margaret Tierney, his two sisters Lori McPhillips & Sonja (Mike) Schefstad, and his brother James McPhillips. He was an uncle to Angela, Joseph, Nicholas, Ryan, and a great uncle to RJ and Scarlett.

A visitation for Troy will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 2400 HARRELL RD, ORLANDO, FL 32817.
