Summer Leigh Schaefer, 39, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on December 4, 2023, in Orlando. She was born on August 6, 1984, in Orlando, to Cindy and Fred Schaefer. Summer is survived by her beloved sons, Nicholas Colon and Ashton Schaefer, as well as her loving mother, Cindy Schaefer, and father, Fred Schaefer. She is also survived by her sisters, Shannon Schaefer and Michelle Rose along with dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who love her dearly.
Summer had a vibrant personality and was known for her dedication and hard work. She had a successful career as a server, bartender, and manager at Hash House A Go Go. Her commitment to providing excellent service and her friendly demeanor made her a favorite among customers and colleagues alike.
Outside of work, Summer enjoyed indulging in her hobbies. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching football and basketball. She was a passionate supporter of the Orlando Magic and The Miami Hurricanes. Summer's enthusiasm for the games brought joy to those around her, and she would often engage in lively discussions about her favorite teams.
A ceremony to honor and celebrate Summer's life will be held at 6pm on Monday, December 11th at Baldwin Fairchild Alternatives at All Faith's, located at 4901 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806.
Summer will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her life. May she rest in peace.
