Sobhi Y. Khouri

Our dearly beloved Sobhi Y. Khouri of Altamonte Springs, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Monday October 31, 2022. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing & will be remembered for his selflessness, generosity, and unconditional love for his family & friends.

Sobhi was born on June 6, 1934 to Youssef & Na’imeh Khouri in Haifa, Palestine. He grew up in Beirut, Lebanon where he met and married the love of his life Leila in 1965. They had two children together, Naji & Hadi.

Sobhi enjoyed travelling & experiencing various cultures around the world. He specifically enjoyed driving everywhere & taking cruises with his wife. He realized the dream of moving the family to the United States in 1983 & later becoming a proud US citizen.

Sobhi is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Leila, sons Naji (Rachel) & Hadi (Gina), godson Humam, grandchildren Dylan, Kristen, Key & Grace, brother Sami (Claire), sisters Samira & Soumaya, nephews & nieces Joseph, Hani, Fadi, Fadia, Jenny, Hassib & Rana.

A memorial service for Sobhi will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 13001 South John Young Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32837. Following the memorial service will be an inurnment service for family & close friends from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
