I met Roger at Football tryouts in the late 70’s when we attended UPJH school in the 9th grade. When I first seen Roger first thing I noticed was he had Big Arms and Chest. I thought this Guy is gonna be the frontline for sure. I introduced myself and asked Roger what position he was trying out for. He said he didn’t know because he was a soccer player and had never played football before. I told him most likely the line because he was short and stalky. He mentioned that he had moved down from up north somewhere. I thought it was Road island but I see in his Bio it was Vermont. Your Dad, Your Brother was a Great Guy. Always a smile or a Nice word. He never got caught up in the Drama of typical Junior High Schoolers. I’m so glad I got to meet Roger. He was one of those people that just always is in your memories. I’m sorry that you lost Roger at such a young age. 59 is way to young.
