January 9, 1929 – August 21, 2015 Robert Elmer Walsh was born On the Seneca Indian Reservation, Salamanca, New York, to Ethel M. (Seaman) Walsh and Joseph J. Walsh. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife of 38 years, Anna Petrosovits Walsh, and brother, Dean Walsh. He served twenty two years in the USAF. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a mail carrier for 20 years in Winter Park, FL and Home Depot, Southland, for 15 years. He is survived by sons, Michael J. Walsh and Thomas R. Walsh (Carla): Grandchildren, Brynn Walsh Carmon, (Daniel) Chris Walsh, Robert Walsh (Courtney) Lisa Walsh Brown (Ossie): great-grandchildren, Garrett Carmon, Gracie Carmon, Anna Walsh Brown, Ossie Brown III, and Braelynn Walsh. Robert was anticipating the arrival of his sixth great-grandchild. He is also survived by sister Ann Kaverman (Robert); and brother Joe Walsh (Leanna), his girlfriend of 22 years, Maria Jo Drury: and Stacy Mignatti (Manny), God-children Sophia Gallegos and David Garcia. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful friend. He will be cherished and missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Thursday, September 3rd at 10 AM. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 AM and a Reception will follow the Mass from 11 AM to 1 PM. Robert will be buried at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida, alongside his wife Anna.
