He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1955 to Wilbur James & Ruth (Emult) Kellum, Jr.
Bob wore many hats over the years. An Engineer of many trades you might say. He has dabbled in everything from Mechanics, Welding, Electrical work, Assembly, Testing & the inspecting of some amazing pieces of machinery. A fabulous cook with a big heart and an even bigger laugh. A very wise man, quick witted and so eager to share his vast knowledge with anyone.
In his free time, anything with an engine captured Bob’s attention. He knew mechanics – loved muscle cars, Formula 1 boats, and Airplanes. At home, if you didn’t find him watching the Daytona 500, he was taking in an old war movie or tinkering with something to make it stronger, better, faster.
Everywhere he went, Bob loved to laugh, and his family and friends knew him as a jokester. A friendly guy. A Humble man. They already miss him terribly.
Bob is survived by his wife, Alice (Cash) Kellum; daughter, Kimberly Kellum; and grandchildren, Isaih R. Menard and Jazzelynn S. Menard. He also leaves behind his brother, Wilber “Jim” Kellum III, and sisters, Carol J. Schatzman and Bonnie K. Mooney.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on April 2, 2022 from 12-2pm at Family Funeral Care in Orlando, Florida.
Condolences may be offered in the online guest book.
