Mr. Richard R Dhanraj

Richard was born on November 4th, 1965 in Georgetown, Guyana to Kenneth and Bernice Dhanraj. The family later moved to New York where they resided in the Bronx. Richard graduated from Park West High School in 1984, and later pursued higher education in the aviation field. After moving to Florida in 1996, Richard continued working in aviation for a total of 21 years.

In 2005 Richard decided to make a career change. This resulted in a fulfilling 18 year journey with Lowes and 17 years part time with Staples. He was a highly decorated employee earning honors such as “Best of the Best” a yearly award for top Lowes employees, several safety accolades, and a number of continued service awards.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother Bernice Dhanraj. He is survived by his father Kenneth Dhanraj, his wife Belinda Dhanraj, his son(s) Adrian and wife Shamara Dhanraj of Charlotte NC, Omar Dhanraj, Ismael Dhanraj, Xavier Dhanraj, only daughter Yasmine Dhanraj, and last but not least his 4 legged BEST FRIEND Milo.

A visitation for Richard will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando, FL 32817.
