Rel. It has been an absolute pleasure knowing you. I watched as you and Aunty Joan embodied a loving  marriage and raised some wonderful children. I’m gonna miss  hearing you calling me “big Jo”. I saw you take your last breath and it humbled me and also calmed me. We don’t know when it will be our last so we should live every moment as such. I hope you are somewhere playing your Sax and singing to Aunty. May your soul test in eternal peace.

My condolences goes out to the family circle of Rel Thomas.  May he RIEP🙏🏾.  Your twin brother will also miss you dearly, my dad. He told lots of stories of you all when you were younger . He said, you all always played together and dressed alike. 
Uncle Rel, you will be missed.  The last time I saw you were at my moms funeral in January. It was so nice to see you.

Mr. Thomas was the perfect example of what a husband and father should be to his family. He worked hard to ensure that his family was well taken care of. He was a man of many talents. As a child, my siblings and I enjoyed listening to him playing his saxophone on a nightly basis. We have many fond memories of him. For me, I always loved imitating his strong Tortolian accent.  It was a joy doing that on a regular basis in the neighborhood. Overall, Mr. Thomas was well loved and will be missed greatly by all of us who were blessed to grow up around him. To the family, I pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort you all during this difficult time. Rest In Peace, Mr. Thomas! Love Kishma Liburd & Family

A tribute to our beloved father, a man who was an example to all his family of how to be a good respectable person.  Especially in an unfair world where you have to stand up for what is right and walk away from that which is wrong.  Dad never ever raised his hand to his wife and it was rear to see him raise it at his kids when we were young growing up.  Thank God he lived to an age that so many did not make it too.  Hopefully his kids can set the same example for generations to come.

RIP Dad, until we meet again.

Dad you were a great role model to all your sons, How you took care of your Wife (MOMMY) & Kids (US) was really commendable.
You were a man of all trades, Mr. DIY and got it done with what you have even though things were tight.  You showed your kids how to be independent & to depend on each other.  You cared so much about music that you wanted us to play an instrument so bad! I think you wanted a family band lol!! Although it didn’t work out that way,  you still enjoyed playing for people….especially in Church. 
I am going to miss you Dad, but your with your wife now.

Our condolences goes out to the entire family for the loss of Uncle Rel.  From the sons and family of his late brother Austin Thomas.  One love to the entire family circle.

Dad, I wanted to let you know that we appreciate all you have done to raise us and provide leadership in our household.  You were always there for us and provided the blueprint for us to be successful men and women.  You made sure we knew God and put him first in our lives.  You have shown us what it means to be a real man, husband and father in this world today.  You will be missed but we celebrate the legacy you left for us.

I am sending my condolences to my Uncle Rel's family who was a twin. I was privileged to also be the mother of twin boys. I enjoyed the times that I spent with my uncle in St. Thomas and in Orlando. I recall one conversation from my uncle and he told me that he was so  happy that my father had a daughter like me and that I was a part of his life. Thank you Uncle Rel for being a loving uncle to me.

Tribute to My Dear Brother, Mr. Rel Thomas.

My heart was saddened to hear of the passing of my Brother, Mr. Rel Thomas.

He fought the good fight, kept the faith, and finished the race.

It was so nice seeing you earlier in February of this year (2023) when you came to St. Thomas, USVI, to attend the funeral of our late Sister-In-Law, Mrs. Mavis Thomas.  We were blessed to have a very nice time together with you and my family.  You spoke very warmly of how much you enjoyed your visit with us… not knowing that it would have been our last time together.

The Lord has called you home and you are now in a better place.  May your faithful children be blessed with renewed strength and peace during this time of bereavement and may God continue to bless them for taking such good care of you.  You will be greatly missed.  

May your soul rest in eternal peace.

Tribute to My Brother-In-Law, Mr. Rel Thomas.

It is with a heavy heart that I prepared this tribute.  Rel have spent lots of good times with us, including when he was last in St. Thomas (USVI) for Mrs. Mavis Thonas’ funeral.

He have suffered for a short time.  Paul has reminded us in 2nd Timothy: Chapter 4, Verses 6-8: “The time has come for me to die; I have fought a good fight; I have finished the race with pride.  I have been faithful to God.  The Lord, who judges fairly, will give to me on the day of judgment, a crown and to everyone else who wait for his coming. “
